POSTGRADUATE STUDIES

 I'm currently studying drama and, just like any other art, academic training is never a need. If you chose to study it in a university you have certain reasons that aren't related to the fact that you will most likely HAVE to go to college after you leave school. Because the arts area is unstable and it is not like playing safe anyways. Or at least that is what I think.

So, even though postgraduate studies is a very common phenomenon in my family and I've always been encourage to study as much as possible, when I first started to think about this matter nothing occurred to me. Nevertheless, at some point I considered that I've always wanted to take some acting course in front of camera, since my university is focused in theater. That other way of acting involves skills that I´m not being taught but that I want to have. 

Another thing that came to my mind are musicals,  because right before the pandemic I managed to enter a musicals academy, but I had to postpone classes because I wasn´t gonna pay for those expensive lessons that I was going to have online, I needed it face-to-face. Now that I have some face-to-face classes I don´t think I would have time to do neither of those courses, so (if I really can´t make time during college) they could take place after I graduate.

Of course both acting in front of camera and musical performing would have to be part-time and face-to-face courses, also, in Chile for start. But I had a very breve but great online course taught by an argentine cast director and I would like to take the same course face-to-face in Argentina. Besides, Argentina has a more developed area of musicals than Chile. For the same reason it would be nice to go to The United States.

Another area that I enjoy and that maybe I would like to develop in the future is dramaturgy and novel writing, at first in Spanish but it would be awesome if I can do it in English as well. And just those I would accept them without problem online.
